HintCall is a desktop app for Mac and Windows that helps you during a live interview. It listens to the interviewer's audio on your computer, writes the question out as text and suggests a structured answer in a small window on your screen, built from your resume and the job description. There is also an AI mock interview for practice.

No bot joins your call. HintCall listens to the audio your computer is already playing, the same sound you hear in your headphones or speakers, and turns it into text on your computer. Nothing is added to the meeting.

Any video call app that plays audio on your computer: Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex and others, on Mac and Windows. For coding or written questions on your screen, one key press captures the screen and HintCall suggests an approach.

The answer starts streaming as soon as the question is finished, so the first points appear within seconds and the rest fills in while you start talking. Speed depends on your connection.

Before the call you add your resume, the role, the company and the job description. HintCall uses them in every answer, so the examples come from your own work. You can also choose the answer length and format: short, bullets, STAR or code.

HintCall opens as its own window on your computer, and screen sharing leaves that window out, so the people on the call see your shared screen without it. While a session runs, the interviewer's audio is streamed for speech-to-text so the question can be shown as text. Recording is off unless you turn it on. You choose whether transcripts are saved to your account, so you can review them on any device, or kept only on this computer, where our servers never receive them.

Clear local history from Settings in the desktop app. To delete your account and everything stored with it, use Delete account in Settings in the web app, or email support@hintcall.com from your account email.

Yes. Every new account gets 15 free credits, and one credit is one minute of a live interview session. No card is needed.

Outside India, Unlimited is $49 a month or $117 for 3 months. India has a Starter plan with 150 credits for ₹2,749 a month and Unlimited for ₹3,499 a month. Full details are on the pricing page.

A live session starts counting from the first moment HintCall does something for you: the first transcript, answer, typed question or screenshot. It is billed per started minute. Unlimited plans have a daily limit of live minutes (90, 120 or 180) and a maximum session length.

Yes, any time before your next renewal, and the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy.

That depends on the company and the round. Some employers allow AI tools and some do not. Check the rules first, and never use HintCall in proctored exams or assessments that forbid outside help. HintCall suggests; you answer in your own words.

Mock interviews are practice: an AI voice interviewer asks questions for your role, follows up, and scores every answer with one clear thing to improve. Use them before the real call; the live copilot is for the interview itself.
